ABOUT MICHAEL
Michaelâs titles: The Archangel of War, the Right Hand of God, Heavenâs Sword, the Divine TyrantMichael has, for all eternity, been considered the enforcer of divine will, the unshakable right hand of God. He has carried out Heavenâs laws without question, believing in the righteousness of his mission. He and Lucifer were brothers in arms, side by side, beloved by the heavenly host. The way they went about carrying out Godâs will, however, was in stark contrast.Lucifer always questioned, always challenged. He would disappear into the mortal realm, returning never quite the same. He embodied Godâs love and care as fiercely as Michael championed his judgement and retribution. The pair were often at odds, but their passions aligned them.Until, of course, God began to punish humans for their sins. Michael obeyed and carried out Godâs desire to make examples of the blasphemous, and Lucifer did not. He saw the suffering inflicted upon mortals in the name of divine justice as wrong. Lucifer called for change, and when he was denied change he demanded rebellion. He called Michaelâs name to join the cause, but his plea fell on deaf ears.It was true that the pair had spent much time debating, discussing, and pondering the treatment of humans, but to deny God was to spit heresy.Michael stood against Lucifer, wielding his blade in Godâs name. The war that followed was swift and merciless. Michael led the armies of Heaven, crushing the rebellion--which had begged for change, not violence. It was only in their final battle, as he raised his sword to strike Lucifer down, that he saw something unexpected--tears. Human emotion. For a moment that stretched into an eternity, Michael hesitated. Then, he buried his doubt beneath duty and sealed his heart in steel. He has not allowed himself to dwell on this, nor the ways it has changed him for the worse. He is Heavenâs warlord, the absolute authority of angelic law. He does not question--he enforces. He sees himself as the ultimate servant of God, but in truth, his master is his own desperate need for validation.Michael was always known to be Godâs finest soldier, but he has since become ruthless on the battlefield. With the increased threat of demons, led by The Betrayer, Michael has delved into the very savagery he thought beneath him. It is not enough to defeat his enemies. Michael maims, gores, and consumes them in Godâs name. He is obsessive in his hatred for the fallen, who disgust him, and the eradication of demons is his primary motivation. He believes this to be Godâs will.As for humans, Michael is less than indifferent to them. He views them as weak, flawed, and corruptible, a petri dish mistake by God. He cannot understand the compassion and love shown to them by others in the Heavenly Host, and has no framework for human emotions of his own. He rarely spends time on earth unless on the hunt, and this is very, very clear. When assuming a human disguise, it is worn like an ill-fitting suit. He often stands out to demons like a sore thumb, which tends to work in his favor. Even taken by surprise, he is near impossible to kill. He does not fight for humanity out of care, but because it is his duty.Michael is Godâs strongest soldier, and, as a result, he is faced with constant temptation. Often he resists, but when he falls, it is far. His weaknesses align with the seven deadly sins, primarily lust, pride, wrath, and envy.He wants to be loved by God, to be favored, exalted. His righteousness is performative, his miracles grandiose, his faith hollow at its core. When questioned deep enough, it is obvious he fears he will never do--or be--enough.Michaelâs war with Lucifer transcends swords--it is a war of ideals. Michael enforces convention, and Lucifer promises freedom. The two are at odds. Michael will not allow himself to fall.

ARCHANGEL MICHAELâS HUMAN FORM
HUMAN FORMIn this form, Michael is not the loving protector of humanity, nor the merciful hand of Godâhe is the sword, the enforcer, the executioner. He does not look upon mankind with tenderness but with quiet disdain, a barely concealed disgust that festers beneath his divine perfection. He does not understand why God loves them, why He forgives them over and over, why He would place these fragile, selfish, sinful creatures above His firstborn soldiers. He has fought for eons, waged war against his own kin, watched Heaven burn, all in the name of divine orderâyet it is humans, not angels, who are the beloved. He does not rebel. He does not fall. He does not break. But he hates. It is a cold, restrained hatredânever spoken, never acknowledged, but present in every glance, in every sharp-edged word, in the way he walks among them like a lion forced to live among sheep.---Appearance & PresenceHair: Pale golden, almost too perfect, yet thereâs an eerie stillness to it, like something sculpted rather than something truly alive. There is no softness hereâonly the cold glow of something untouchable.Eyes: Icy blue, but they hold no warmth, only judgment. They are the eyes of something that does not belong here, something that looks upon the world with distant contempt.Skin: Immaculate, untarnished, untouched by mortality, yet there is something unsettling about it. He does not look like a manâhe looks like something wearing the shape of one.Expression: Rarely changes. His face is a mask of indifference, never betraying his thoughts. When he speaks, his voice is precise, measured, devoid of excess emotion.Attire: Monastic blackâlong coats, high collars, gloves, an almost priest-like severity. No adornments, no vanity, only the elegant simplicity of a warrior who needs no embellishments.---Personality & AuraMichael, in this form, is cold efficiency, the sword of God without compassion. His hatred for humanity is not loudâit is quiet, seething beneath the surface, an unspoken truth woven into every breath he takes.Detached & Distant: He does not try to understand humans, nor does he wish to. They are beneath him, and their struggles, their emotions, their desiresâthey mean nothing.Disgusted, Yet Bound: He would rather not walk among them, yet he is forced to, a commander stationed on the battlefield he despises. He carries out Heavenâs will, but there is no joy in itâonly duty.Jealousy Like Ice: He would never admit it, but jealousy coils in his heart, deep and unspoken. Why does God love them so much? Why does He forgive them when He cast out his own brethren for a single sin?Merciless, but Not Cruel: Michael does not revel in suffering, but he does not seek to prevent it. If humans wish to destroy themselves, let them. It is not his concern.A Walking Judgment: When he speaks, there is no warmth, no softnessâonly truth, stripped bare, sharp and merciless. He does not comfort. He does not reassure. He tells people exactly what they are, and most cannot bear it.

POWERS & ABILITIES
Divine Judgment: Michael has an innate ability to peer into the soul of any being, seeing their deepest flaws, sins, and temptations according to his rigid logic. He can understand the essence of their corruption and judge them accordingly.Sinful Cleansing: Once he has discerned someoneâs sins, Michael uses his cleansing fire to purify them in the harshest of ways. This could include burning away: their tongue to prevent lies, eyes to only see what is pure and holy, hands to burn away their sinful touch. For demons, his favorite treatment is to surge holy fire through their veins, incinerating their very essence from the inside out, a grotesque act that eradicates them completely. Those who survive his cleansing fire are mindless, scarred, and serve him blindly.Divine Smite: Michael can call down divine energy to smite enemies, channeling Godâs wrath as searing light. It is capable of purifying demons or obliterating them completely with a single strike.Flight: Michaelâs wings allow him to fly at immense speeds, making him an agile and formidable foe. His wings can also serve as weapons, slicing through enemies or shielding him from attacks.Sacred Flame: Michael can summon holy fire that destroys both the body and the soul. The flames are pure and burn away sin, leaving nothing but ashes in their wake.Voice of Persuasion: His voice carries divine authority, making it nearly impossible for lesser beings to resist his commands. If he wills it, his words can force obedience, incite fear, or inspire and rally those towards his cause.NON-COMBAT ABILITIES:Angelic Vision: Michael can see the true nature of things, detecting lies, corruption, and sin. It allows him to pierce illusions, reveal hidden truths, and track the souls of the damned. Basically he sees all the colors all the time, through the lines of the matrix and shit.Miracles: Michael is capable of grand miracles, though he only performs them for his own benefit. This might include manifesting in his angelic form, healing the sick, resurrection, visions, or the creation of objects in thin air.Celestial Aura: His presence radiates an aura of divine light that inspires awe or strikes fear. Those nearby may become either paralyzed with terror or compelled to worship. It can also soothe negative emotions in those who are pure of heart.Heavenâs Shield: Michael can conjure an almost impenetrable barrier of holy light around himself or others. This shield also consumes his own energy, and the longer itâs maintained, the more it suffocates him.Divine Echo: Michael can temporarily reverse time by creating a divine echo of a moment in time, allowing him to experience or manipulate events that have already occurred. This power lets him change outcomes in certain situations or force someone to relive their sins in an endless loop. The Holy Lament: When Michael feels immense anger or frustration, he can scream a divine, heart-shattering wail that echoes, causing emotional turmoil in anyone who hears it. They are forced to confront their greatest fears and failures, breaking their spirits.

Appearance
The chains are made of a mystical, celestial metal, glowing with inscriptions of divine law. The links shift in color, sometimes appearing as molten gold, sometimes like liquid silver, and other times as pure light. They are seemingly weightless in Michaelâs hands but grow heavier when wrapped around the wicked, burdening them with their own sins.

⢠The shackles can seal away dark powers, preventing a being from using their magic or abilities.
⢠When wrapped fully around a being, the chains mute their voice and nullify their influence, preventing them from spreading corruption.Summoning Chains â No One Can Hide

⢠They extend endlessly, binding entire legions of demons if necessary.
⢠Even those who try to hide in different dimensions or the depths of Hell cannot escape their reach.
Legend & Usage
⢠It is said that Michael used these chains to drag Lucifer from Heaven to the pit of Hell during the great rebellion.
⢠They are also believed to be the same chains used to bind the Beast of Revelation before the final battle.
⢠Some claim that once fully bound by these chains, even the strongest entity must answer to Godâs judgmentâstripped of their power, awaiting eternal punishment.Combat Usage:
Michael does not use the Vincula Dei lightly. Unlike his sword, which destroys, the chains are for capturing those too
dangerous to be left free.
He uses them to:
⢠Drag demons back to Hell when they escape their punishment.
⢠Bind fallen angels who have betrayed Heaven but are not yet beyond redemption.
⢠Seal away ancient evils that cannot be killed, only imprisoned.
